XBOX 20TH ANNIVERSARY EVENT

Microsoft is hosting a special Xbox Anniversary Event today to celebrate 20 years since the release of the original Xbox alongside Halo: Combat Evolved. “While we haven’t announced any new games, this release will be a special throwback to all the memories we’ve shared with the Xbox community over the past two decades,” Microsoft said.

While the event is planned as a celebration rather than a topical event, that doesn’t mean there won’t be any news. Rumors suggest we may see a multiplayer beta of Halo Infinite to commemorate 20 years of Halo, and many Xbox fans have detected suspicious updates to existing original Xbox and Xbox 360 games.

We expect the event to last approximately 30 minutes in total.
