Which Apple iPhone is the Best for You?
Want to buy a new iPhone? You’re in the right place. We’re here to help you decide which Apple iPhone is worth upgrading based on your budget and preferences, from the new iPhone 13 to the affordable iPhone SE.
Apple recently launched the iPhone 13 family of products, and the lineup features subtle design tweaks we love to see, like a smaller screen notch and a rear camera setup with diagonally positioned sensors. But the improvements made to camera quality and overall performance are what make the switch worthwhile and newcomers impossible to miss. With this new release, Apple has discontinued the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max, but you can still get the iPhone 12, iPhone 11 and iPhone SE.

It’s important to note that the price we’ve included for each iPhone is for a device without a contract. You can also choose to order the product and pay monthly fees. The exchange program offered by Apple and its partner carriers is also great – depending on what your current phone is and which iPhone model you choose, it may not cost you anything to upgrade (eg T-Mobile will give you up to 700$ for a 4-year iPhone X).

Apple iPhone 13: The best iPhone for most people
The iPhone 13 is a fantastic upgrade option for most consumers as it comes with state-of-the-art hardware specs at an acceptable price point. Highlights include Apple’s latest A15 Bionic chipset with a state-of-the-art neural engine, a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED screen, excellent stereo speakers, a powerful dual camera and a long battery life.
Starting at 799$, the iPhone 13 is competitively priced by today’s high-end smartphone standards. It’s the best choice in its price range by an overwhelming margin.
Compared to the stellar iPhone 12 it replaces, the iPhone 13 has a more powerful chipset, a more sophisticated camera setup, an improved 5G setup with more bands, and a brighter Super Retina display. Overall, the device’s ability to capture best-in-class images and videos is the number one reason you should consider it, even if you currently own an iPhone 12.
Apple offers the iPhone 13 in a variety of bold colours: pink, blue, midnight, starlight and (PRODUCT) RED. The initial iPhone 13 comes with ample 128GB storage, which is a significant improvement over previous models. You can specify it with up to 512 GB of memory.

Apple iPhone 13 Pro: The next-generation iPhone
The iPhone 13 Pro has the same design as its predecessor, but a more powerful chipset, a brighter screen with ProMotion technology, and a better triple camera with an expanded zoom range. Again, the high-end iPhone has a more luxurious construction than the iPhone 13, topped off by a steel frame and a matte-finished glass back. You can order the product in graphite, gold, silver and Sierra blue.
ProMotion is what sets the iPhone 13 Pro’s Super Retina XDR OLED screen apart from all other iPhones. The feature offers an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, resulting in smoother and faster screen interactions. Previously, it was only available on iPad Pro models.
Compared to iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro has a more robust A15 Bionic chip with more GPU cores. Your camera not only has a snapper but also bigger image sensors, brighter lenses and a LiDAR.
Overall, this is the iPhone to buy, if its price suits your budget. The basic iPhone 13 Pro comes with 128GB of storage. Power users can increase the memory level to 1TB, for the first time for an iPhone.

Apple iPhone SE: The most affordable iPhone
With a starting price of just under 400$, the latest iPhone SE is a great buy for users who don’t need or want the most sophisticated smartphone. It has the familiar compact design of the iPhone 8 it replaces, as well as future-proof hardware specifications. There are three colours to choose from: black, white, and (PRODUCT) RED.
Equipped with the same A13 Bionic chip with Neural Engine as the iPhone 11, the iPhone SE is the most powerful smartphone in its lower price range. And like all new iPhones, it comes with a waterproof case, built-in stereo speakers, and support for wired and wireless fast charging.
The new iPhone SE can capture portrait images with its main camera as well as its selfie photoreceptor. This affordable iPhone can also record 4K videos at 60 frames per second with high-quality stabilization and crystal-clear stereo sound.

Apple iPhone 13 mini: The most compact iPhone
The iPhone 13 mini, as the name suggests, is the smartphone to buy if you’re looking for a smaller model that doesn’t skimp on features. It has the same design, finish, specs, and performance as the iPhone 13, but a smaller 5.4-inch Super Retina XDR display.
Starting at 699$, the mini is also the most affordable member of the new iPhone 13 product family. It comes in pink, blue, midnight, starlight, and (PRODUCT) RED.
As the name suggests, the size of the product is its most impressive selling point. Because it has a compact screen, it’s perfect for one-handed interactions, allowing the thumb to easily extend up and down on the screen. Even though it seems like a small detail when testing the product I liked that I was able to type text messages and emails with one hand without worrying about dropping the device.
Compared to last year’s iPhone 12 mini, the new generation not only offers a more powerful chip and better camera but also longer battery life. The iPhone 12 mini is still available for $ 100 less, but given the beginner’s higher-level chip and camera, I wouldn’t recommend it unless you find an amazing deal.

Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max: The ultimate iPhone
Apple’s iPhone 13 Pro Max is the biggest and best-performing iPhone today. It’s a luxury entertainment and productivity powerhouse that’s worth 100$ more than the iPhone 13 Pro, thanks to a much larger screen and long battery life. This is the iPhone Pro you should buy, as long as you don’t mind its size and weight (it weighs over 8oz).
The larger Super Retina XDR OLED display with ProMotion technology ensures that the next generation iPhone is the best for gaming, watching videos and staying productive on the go. The captivating screen is also ideal for editing photos and videos captured with the best triple camera in its class.
The 13 Pro Max has the biggest battery of any iPhone. Depending on how you deal with screen wake-up time, it can take a full 2 days between charges, making it a great option for anyone who’s constantly on the move (or just hates charging). The product’s battery performance alone is a valid compensation for its considerable size and weight.
The iPhone 13 Pro Max comes in the same colours and storage options as the smaller iPhone 13 Pro: Graphite, Gold, Silver, and Sierra Blue. The starting price is 1,099$ for a model with 128 GB of storage.

Apple iPhone 11: Big screen budget iPhone
At 300$ less than the iPhone 13, the iPhone 11 offers robust hardware specs and a compatible user experience. It has a large Retina display, a top-notch camera setup, and a powerful chip. Until the arrival of the iPhone 12, the iPhone 11 was our favourite iPhone model.
This is the model we recommend for budget-conscious buyers looking for a big-screen iPhone with reliable features and specifications, as long as 5G isn’t a priority. More than 2 years after its launch, it is among the best products in its price range.
iPhone 11 is available in more colours than any iPhone 13 model: black, white, purple, yellow, green, and (PRODUCT) RED. You can specify it with up to 128 GB of storage.
